Cairns Real Estate identified as most affordable

CAIRNS real estate remains some of the most affordable in the country, in contrast to major metropolitan centres, says Real Estate Institute of Queensland zone chairman Tom Quaid.

Mr Quaid’s comments came after a recent report revealed an improvement in housing affordability in Queensland.

The 2018 March quarter edition of the Adelaide Bank/REIA Housing Affordability Report also showed the median family income required to meet loan repayments had decreased.
